- BASIL SWEET ORGANIC SEEDS: Organically grown basil seed produces large, classic leaves with the delicious sweet basil taste. Great with pasta and tomato dishes or salads.
- SOW: January to December, HARVEST: January to December, HEIGHT: 30cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 300 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - March to May, or all year round for pots indoors. WHERE - In pots of moist compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover lightly with compost. Keep at 15-20℃ and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-14 days.
- CARE - Thin plants if necessary. To grow outdoors, gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in final position. To grow indoors, transplant to 15cm pots of compost, place in a light airy location. HARVEST – Outdoor crops June to October, indoor crops all year round. Pick as required.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - May to June. WHERE - In the growing position. HOW - Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine soil. CARE - When large enough, thin to 15cm apart, for a continuous supply make sowings at three weekly intervals. HARVEST – Pick the leaves from June to November.
- Grown by dedicated farmers using strictly organic methods, the seeds have been approved by Soil Association.
