OBJECT OF THE GAME : The winner is the first one to get one of the 5 pieces in their colour onto the finishing square by rolling the exact number to land on it. STARTING THE GAME : Every player rolls the dice in turn, the one who gets the highest number starts the game and plays the number on the dice. All the pieces start from the first black box just in front of the starting square, the coloured boxes do not count. You do not have to play all your pieces. MOVES : All pieces can move in any direction, i.e. forwards, backwards, left or right. You cannot change direction during one move, for example go forwards then backwards You have to move the piece the full number shown on the dice. Throwing a 6 does NOT give you the right to a second throw You can pass your own pieces and those of the other players. BEAT YOUR OPPONENTS PIECES : If a piece finishes its move on a square already occupied by the piece of an opponent, the opponent's piece is removed from the board and has to return to the starting square. BARRICADES : Barricades are obstacles that cannot be jumped over. To jump over a barricade, you must throw the exact number to land one of your pieces on the barricade square.
