This original high grade model kit of the Gundam arises from the collaboration between designer Ken Okuyama and director Kou Matsuo! It's no coincidence that the model number of this gunpla is G40, as its launch coincides with the 40th anniversary of Gundam! This is a 1/144 scale snap-fit model requiring assembly: there's no need for glue and all parts are already molded in color. There are 2 main peculiarities to be noticed. First one, more evident at a glance, is the exterior restyling of the mobile suit, characterized by soft lines and renewed details all over the body. Second one, less obvious but definitely sensational, concerns the employ of groundbreaking joint solutions!
