Product Description This surge protection is intended for satellite systems, antenna systems and cable television. The overvoltage protection device has a DC passage and is suitable for the frequency range from 5 to 2200 MHz. It is equipped with a self-healing varistor and remains intact even after overvoltage. The component has a fast response time and is loadable up to 4500 A (8 / 20μs). High electrical voltages can arise during thunderstorms and enter the cable network via antennas or cables laid in the ground. The Axing SZU 6-02 effectively prevents damage to the components connected to the coaxial cable. At a voltage peak, the connection is short-circuited and can not damage subsequent components. The TV and radio signal remain virtually unaffected during normal operation. The throughput attenuation is a maximum of 0.5 dB, the return loss is at least 20 dB. Due to the metal housing and high-quality connections (F-connector male to F-connector female ), a high shielding of more than 90 dB is ensured and Class A is fulfilled. The surge protector can be screwed directly onto the inputs of the multiswitch or amplifier. Grounding angles and potential equalization can thus be optimally supplemented.
