Product Description Modern televisions and set-top-boxes are sensitive to excessive signal levels. These can be caused by short cable paths or by the use of active multiswitches or amplifiers. A result could be that there are a number of channels that are missing or disturbed. With this attenuator you can reduce the signal level. The attenuation can be adjusted continuously between 0.5 and 20 dB. The damping plate has a DC pass (for the LNB voltage) and can be used in satellite systems, with DVB-T and cable television. Also, control commands such as DiSEqC and Unicable are not affected. The cast housing is high shielded according to class A. The attenuator can be mounted at the output of a multiswitch or antenna socket as well as directly at the receiver (TV or set-top-box).
