Product description Our strong effective bellows are ideal for applying AviVit Pure Fresh Water, food grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE) to hen houses, arks, and other buildings, for the control of red mite and other ectoparasites affecting poultry and other animals. The powder can be aimed with a great degree of accuracy, under perches, roof cladding, roof eves, into voids and under the floor. Powder bellows can also used for controlling a wide range of garden pests, including wasps nests. NOTE FOR TREATING RED MITE Sprinkling diatomaceous earth on the floor of hen houses and nest boxes, will not control red mite effectively, the powder must cover the entire surface area of the structure including the underside of the floor and roof. For this reason, a good dust applicator is essential. Our Pure Diatomaceous earth is sold separateley. Directions Apply diatomaceous earth powder using the bellows applicator to cover the entire surface area of poultry buildings, hen houses, and arks. Aim powder under perches, roof cladding, roof eaves, into voids, and under the floor for effective red mite and ectoparasite control. Ensure powder covers all surfaces including the underside of floors and roofs, not just sprinkling on floors and nest boxes. Wear a good quality well fitting dust mask during application.
