The magnetic compasses of the C3 series are the smallest ones manufactured by Autonautic. They are a popular choice for small boats such as RIBs, small boats, and traditional sailing skiffs. The popularity of this magnetic compass is partly due to its surface-mounted design, which requires no visible cut-out—only three small holes need to be drilled for the mounting screws. This surface-mounted magnetic compass features a highly visible, 65 mm spherical compass card that is easy to read from a wide viewing angle. The compass card is well damped to withstand the harsh and demanding conditions that occur when installed on RIBs.
