Stunning replica 1950s Constellation plane. This replica would have been used by travel agencies to advertise airlines. Looks fantastic on a desk or sideboard. Otherwise known as the Lockheed Constellation, this plane had 4 engines and was propeller-driven. A total of 456 were produced over 4 models between 1943 and 1958 at Burbank, California. Unique with their triple tail design and dolphin-shaped fuselage. Used both as a civilian airliner and as a U.S. military air trainsport plane. More interestingly the Constellation was the presidential aircraft for U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower!!
