The Ci1-R2 solid carbide tip is 15mm square. It fits the Full-Size Easy Rougher and Pro Easy Rougher. Each of the four edges is slightly curved with a radius of 2", hence the R2 suffix. The radius along the edge, minimises the risk of a catch from a sharp corner when moving the chisel from side-to-side. The standard carbide tips provide a neutral rake, which is the angle of a cutter relative to its cutting surface. These cutters start sharp and stay sharper longer to reduce catches and blowouts. When one side of the cutter eventually dulls, simply rotate to a fresh cutting edge and continue turning. When all edges are used, simply replace the cutter.
