Adapter with 4-segment 3.5 mm plug (video and audio). Not to be confused with normal 3-segment 3.5 mm audio stereo plug. This adapter is for use with notebooks, camcorders and other compact devices with 4-pin 3.5 mm video and audio stereo jack. It adapts to 3x RCA socket: white (stereo left), red (stereo right), yellow (CV, composite video - 75 Ohm). Note for use with smartphones and mobile phones: This adapter can only work if the device supports TV output via the 3.5 mm 4 segment socket. Different manufacturers (Samsung, Apple, ...) use different connector assignments. For example, Samsung is exactly the opposite position as with Nokia.
