How to Use Slideway Oil 68 (100 ml) Wipe ways, gibs and slides clean of swarf and old oil. Apply a few drops to each slide surface and gib contact; traverse the axis to distribute. Re-apply lightly after cleaning or extended use; avoid over-oiling. Lathe Chuck & Jaw Grease (30 g) Power down and lock out the machine. Strip and clean jaws/scrolls of old grease and debris; dry. Apply a thin, even smear to jaw guides, scroll teeth and key squares. Cycle jaws open/closed to distribute; wipe excess. Re-apply based on use, coolant exposure and cleaning schedule. Do not mix with other lubricants. Caution Apply only to stationary equipment with power isolated. Keep lubricants off cutting tools, belts and brakes. Wipe spills—oil/grease can create slip hazards.
