Inshriach Pink is a compact Astilbe plant that suits almost any outdoor space. Glossy, divided, dark green foliage gives way to upright stems bearing feathery plumes of pale pink flowers throughout midsummer. These spikes of tiny flowers have a vibe of cottage garden plants and are well suited for use as bedding plants and border plants. Also known as False Goat’s Beard, Astilbe is an undemanding plant that requires very little maintenance to flourish. These outdoor plants prefer reliably moist soil where they thrive in full sun or partial shade. In drier soil types they become shade loving plants, growing well in less bright parts of the garden. Water Astilbe plants generously during dry spells and cut back to ground level in winter. These are herbaceous perennial plants that die back over the colder months before sprouting back to life the following spring.
