Ashima's Flo-tor rotor is their lightweight floating disc brake rotor . The float helps with modulation and the feel of the braking system. The floating design also allows better heat management decreasing the likely hood of a warped rotor or a series of other heat related issues. With Ashima's ability and experience in lightweight rotors it's no surprise that this is one of the lighter floating rotors on the market today. The stainless steel braking surface works very well in both power and modulation. It does require the same break in period as all rotors.
