A diatomaceous mineral mixture, our product is suitable for use in hen houses & chicken coops, whilst the high purity mixture ensures that it's an effective multi mite diatomaceous earth treatment & mites killer - use as a lice & red mite treatment for chickens, red spider mite killer, clover mite killer, or additional measure for scaly leg mites. A must-have among your chicken coop accessories, our diatomaceous earth can be used beyond pest control uses; the powder reduces moisture in bedding & litter meaning it can be mixed with a ground sanitising powder for poultry to reduce bacteria to create a potent chicken coop cleaner & disinfectant. Our diatomaceous earth is packed in a convenient strong, resealable bucket for easy use & storage. When using, the product is simple to apply: Chicken Dust Bath – Mix 1 part diatomaceous earth with 2 parts loose soil/sand. Add to a container or shallow pit where chickens have access. Chicken Mite Powder – Apply the diatomaceous earth powder dry. For an effective red mite powder for chickens, focus on harbourage areas, cracks & crevices, edges, gaps in wood panels, screw holes, other small dark spaces.
