Product description
Designed by Kristian Vedel in 1959, this small wooden bird was one of the most successful Danish products of the 1950s. Each wooden bird is handmade by a wooden spatula in Denmark and is available in natural and smoked oak. The spherical head of the bird can be tilted and rotated, creating different expressions. The bird can be used alone or with various wooden birds in Vedels series to create a graphic story on a shelf or desk. The body of each bird can be turned over to create a male or female figure.
