Overview of the 2CH Sugar Charango by Eagle Harmonic Strings Charango sets are made using innovative materials, discovered and perfected in Aquila laboratories after a long period of research and after being meticulously tested, resulting in a new synthetic high tech product. Sugar strings for Charango offer a particularly bright and powerful sound. To achieve perfect intonation stability within a few minutes, we recommend pulling each individual string to the 12th nut during the tuning phase. Stop the operation only when the rope does not drop further in frequency. Attention: Similar to the gut, Sugar is a cutting sensitive material. Before assembling the strings make sure that the grooves to the nut and bridge are shallow, perfectly sanded and no sharp corners. If not, use 600 grit emery cloth or fine grain steel wool. Do not use the strings on instruments with a vibrating length greater than 14.5 inches.
