Product Description Bromine Granules are an alternative water sanitiser to Chlorine. AquaSPAkle Spa Bromine infused Granules are highly effective granules used for sanitation and algae control of spa water. These granules are relatively pH neutral. How to use Bromine Granules: 1.Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2 - 7.6. If the level is not in this range adjust. 2.Maintain bromine residuals within the rage 3-5mg/L (ppm) Freshly filled spas require initial shock or start up dose of 50mg/L (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/L (ppm) for 2 hours. 3.Apply this product directly to your spa water whilst the spa pump(s) are on to aid distribution. 4.If using this product for shock treatment, allow 30 minutes before bathing recommences. Daily dose rates for Bromine Granules: •For water volumes of 1000 litres (220 gallons) to increase the bromine level by 1ppm add 3g of bromine granules, to increase by 3ppm add 8g and to increase by 6ppm add 16g. •For water volumes of 1500 litres (330 gallons) to increase the bromine level by 1ppm add 4g of bromine granules, to increase by 3ppm add 12g and to increase by 6ppm add 24g Directions 1. Pour the infused bromine granules into the spa water. 2. Maintain adequate bromine level for effective disinfection and algae control. 3. Keep pH neutral for optimal use.
