Sodium Bicarbonate Common problems are limescale and cloudy water. When the total alkalinity drops too low, rapid changes in the pH can occur which could cause corrosion and harmful or disagreeable bathing conditions. Ideal spa water exists when spa water has a Total Alkalinity of between 80-140mg/l (ppm). Aqua Sparkle TA Plus has been designed to help keep your spa water at this optimum level.
