Freshwater snails about 5-10mm in diameter growing to 25mm, from coldwater tanks so will thrive in outdoor, cold, or tropical setups, tolerating a wide range of conditions. Colours not guaranteed but we try to supply a good variety from Greats, Blues, Pinks, Browns, Blacks, Reds, Oranges, Greys, Mottled, etc. Excellent algae cleaners. They are themselves food for larger fish, including goldfish, but will multiply readily given the chance. Well fed on a calcium rich diet to help their shells. No special care as they manage on algae and won't eat any live plants. Please research your other tank inhabitants to ensure compatibility and do carefully follow the acclimatising instructions.
