Product description AquaCrest filters are designed using advanced filtration technology to aid in reducing/removing contaminants such as limescale, chlorine, heavy metals, herbicides and pesticides to provide high-quality, clean and great tasting drinking water. The AQK-02 uses four filtration stages to give you the purest possible water: Stage 1 – A fine mesh filter Stage 2 - Ion exchange resin Stage 3 - A carbon filtration layer Stage 4 - A secondary fine mesh filter Using simple moisturising and pre-soaking methods the filter is easy to prepare: Before use, the filter needs to be held submerged underwater, gently move and shake the filter whilst doing so until no more bubbles appear; your filter will then be ready for use. As well as providing you with better tasting drinking water for your tea or coffee, an AquaCrest filter can also help improve the life of your appliance through the reduction of limescale.
