- Characteristics: The Aphelandra Green, more commonly known as the Zebra Plant, is an indoor plant that has foliage very akin to zebra stripes, as the dark green foliage is joined by white veining, creating the the Zebra look. The plant will produce brightly coloured flower bracts at points in the year and, whilst these don't stay forever, they are very delightful when present. This plant will also purify the air, removing harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air.
