Tannus Armour is a foam/semi-mousse insert that sits between the air tube and the tire for puncture protection. Compatible with all clincher tyres. It is developed with our patented Aither technology. A compound based on polymers and closed air microcells that make it very light, flexible but incredibly durable. The Armour protects you against the top 4 threats: Sharp Objects, Side Cutting, Crying and Pinching. When installing it you will notice better comfort by absorbing very noticeably a large amount of ground vibrations and dissipating the energy evenly in the camera. The result is a much smoother, quieter and more comfortable ride. Covers the air cushion close to 360º providing heel to heel protection. This allows driving at much lower pressures without the tire deforming, becoming sluggish or difficult to master. Compatibility (see table) Tannus Armour is compatible with the range of covers marked in the compatibility chart. The air chamber should be slightly smaller than the one we normally use, since the Armour takes up some space reserved for it. If the maximum value of the air chamber is within the marked range, it is suitable. Additionally, some references include a cut line to suit the size of the cover being used.
