The soft pink blooms of Anemone hybrida ‘Serenade’ fit in perfectly with any pastel or cottage garden planting scheme. It’s long, upright stems sway gently in the breeze creating an airy effect in borders. Tall and upright, these easy-to-grow Japanese Anemones make a big impact in planting schemes when in full bloom during the summer months – best of all, they return for a repeat performance every year. This unfussy perennial tolerates sun or partial shade and is a real treasure to have in the garden where it will put on a fantastic show of colour whilst requiring very little care in return. Plant your Anemone plants out on moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Plants are generally unfussy and, once established, will last for years, although try to avoid excessive winter wet. Cut back anemone flowers as they fade.
