• Characteristics: Clump-forming herbaceous perennial shrub with toothed, maple-like foliage of bright green and slender stems holding semi-double with pale pink flowers.

• Period of Interest: Summer and Autumn interest. Upright stalks, sometimes branching, which carry single to semi-double white flowers with light violet-pink tinge and ruffled petals from mid-Summer to Autumn.
• Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soils. Keep in full or partial sun in any position. Avoid heavy, retentive soils and waterlogging, especially during Winter. Wind and frost protection advised.

The Anemone ‘Frilly Knickers’ is a boasts bright green foliage consisting of incised or toothed, maple-like foliage with a mounding, clumping habit beneath the upright, slender stems bearing single to semi-double blooms of ruffled white with violet-pink reverse-sides on each petal which tend to bleed through to the white side, providing bright Summer hues. Plant in moderately moist, fertile, well-drained, humus-rich soils and keep in full or partial sun. Can be planted in most positions but heavy, water retentive soils should be avoided as the plant is intolerant of waterlogging and poor drainage, especially during the Winter months.
