Product Description With its incomparably silky look, our Anchor pearl thread is a mercerised, 2-thread, lightly twisted yarn that enhances and enhances embroidery. Due to the bead twist and combination of yarn thicknesses, it is widely used for hardanger embroidery in many countries. Anchor pearl thread is also used for cross stitch in some countries as well as for free embroidery and other counted embroidery techniques. Often it is also used for crocheting. Anchor pearl yarn is made with 100% extra long Egyptian Giza cotton fibers in our own manufacturing facility using the latest technology and the most advanced dyeing methods, in full respect of the environment and compliance with environmental legislation. Anchor pearl thread is tested for friction, sweat and water resistance. Plain yarns can be washed up to 95º, multicoloured and ombre yarns up to 60º and metallic polyester yarns up to 30º.
