Product Description With its incomparably silky look, our Anchor pearl thread is a mercerized, 2-ply, lightly twisted yarn that enhances and enhances embroidery work. Due to the pearl rotation and the combination of yarn thicknesses, it is widely used in many countries for Hardanger embroidery. Anchor pearl thread is also used for cross stitch in some countries, as well as for free embroidery and other counted embroidery techniques. It is often used for crocheting. Anchor pearl cotton thread is made from 100% extra long Egyptian Giza cotton fibres in our own production facility using the latest technology and most advanced dyeing methods, while in full respect for the environment and environmental legislation. Anchor pearl cotton is tested for friction, sweat and water resistance. Plain yarns can be washed up to 95º, multicoloured and ombre yarns up to 60º and metallic polyester yarns up to 30º.
