The mount has a pure white core and a thickness of 1.4mm, allowing you enough space to tape your photo/picture to the back, which is then inserted between the glass and backing board of your picture frame. Measurements The product's size menu displays both the external mount size and the internal photo/picture size. To determine your measurements, follow these steps: Measure the width and length of your picture/photo to mount. This is your internal mount size. Keep in mind that we cut all of our mount openings 3mm smaller all around, making it easier for you to attach your artwork/photo. If you already have a picture frame to insert your picture and mount, measure the frame's opening at the back, not the glass at the front. This is your external mount size. For instance, if your picture measures 10”x8” and your picture frame opening is 12”x10”, you should order size 12”x10” to fit 10”x8”.
