Product description Allgood Farm Prayer Plant Expert Potting Soil is a chunky, mossy soil, rich in the nutrients that Calathea, Maranta, Stromanthe and Ctenanthe vaireties need. Prayer Plants are beloved for their beautiful patterned leaves, which tend to fold up at night (like praying hands, hence the name). Their undeniably stunnign foliage can be tricky to keep happy though, and they require carefully balanced humidity. Our soil mix is formulated to mimic their natural tropical environment, with coir, perlite, vermiculite and sphagnum finely balanced to ensure just the right level of moisture retention. Also in the mix are rich worm castings and organic compost to promote new leafy growth. *When available, we include a free sample of one of our home-grown nutrient boosts with orders over 3 litres.
