Product description Allgood Farm Philodendron & Anthurium Chunky Soil Mix is a premium quality hand-mixed potting compost designed for fussy tropical plants. We love our Philos for their large, showy foliage and Anthuriums add a glorious pop of colour to any room... BUT, these tropicals can be notoriously particular about soil. Root rot is a nightmare for any lover of these tropical beauties. Our mix is designed to mimic the tropical forests where these aroid plants thrive. We use peat-free coir, clay pebbles and plenty of pine bark, to mix a loose, free draining blend that will never become compressed. We also add a good handful of biochar and vermiculite which work together to regulate moisture and ecourage a healthy soil biome with beneficial bacteria and fungi. *When available, we include a free sample of one of our home-grown nutrient boosts with orders over 3 litres.
