Product description Allgood Farm Premium Hoya & Christmas Cactus Soil Blend is rich in moss and bark, recreating the tree-side growing habits of epiphytic plants. We love the wide variety of shapes and sizes of Hoya, Schlumbergera (Christmas & Easter Cacti) and Rhipsalis, which make beautiful hanging displays, but these can be tricky customers as their natural habitat is very different from a plant pot. In their subtropical homelands, these epiphytes grow on the surface of trees, so a pot of compost isn't going to cut it. We mix plenty of bark, sphagnum and coir, as well as sand and clay pebbles which produces a highly aerated soil that allows the roots of these plants to thrive. We love the feel of this rich, mossy soil mix - we hope your plants will too! *When available, we include a free sample of one of our home-grown nutrient boosts with orders over 3 litres. This is a free extra and not guaranteed. Safety Warning Always wear gloves and avoid inhaling dust when handling soil. Store in a cool, dark, and dry environment. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
