Instructions for programming/learning: Method 1: Stand in your garage with a working key fob and use it to open and close the gate. Then within five seconds, press and hold the two buttons of the original mini keychain simultaneously for five seconds (Note: if you have an oval midi keychain, use the middle buttons at the top and bottom. If you have the early midi keychain, use the two top buttons) until the indicator light starts flashing to indicate that the receiver has gone into programming mode. Now take the new key fob and press the button you want to press your gate and hold it for a second, your new handheld device should now press your garage door. Method 2:If you lost the original keyfob, you need to loosen the mounting screw at the back center of the engine housing and open the hinged lid. Locate the red push button located on the motherboard and press this button for five seconds until the indicator light starts flashing to indicate that the receiver has gone into programming mode. Take the new key fob and press the button you want to press your gate and hold it for a second, your new handheld device should now press your garage door.
