Ajuga Mini Mahogany is a compact form of this useful ground cover that also produces masses of blue flowers in Spring above the carpeting foliage, and sporadically throughout the rest of the year. It is evergreen it all but the coldest weathers, and is the perfect weed suppressing plant to cover the ground under shrubs and between other plants in herbaceous borders. Even in it's own right it will make a lovely display at the front of a mixed border, or perhaps use to cascade from a patio planter. If you are looking for a perennial ground cover to succeed in a hard to grow shady area, Mini Mahogany Ajuga is an ideal choice. To propagate, divide plants in autumn or spring. These plants are supplied in a 2lt nursery pot. Please note depending on time of year these plants may be pruned back to encourage new growth.
