• Standard monofilament leaders are unable to achieve this as they are made of a stiffer material than the fly line and do not provide a smooth transitional taper
• Polyleaders are attached to the tip of your fly line by a loop to loop connection and provide a perfect taper all the way to the exposed mono to which you can attach your chosen tippet

The 10' Airflo Trout Polyleader covers the full spectrum of trout fishing situations, providing smooth turn over with any size flies. Available in 7 different densities, the Airflo Trout Polyleaders are available in everything from floating to ex.super fast sinking tips. The extra length on these 10' versions allows you to keep the shadow of your fly line futher away from the fish. We recommend a tippet strength of 12lb or lower.
