The sawtooth profiled acoustic tile is our newest custom designed profile. These tiles look the part and are perect for studios, both professional and home alike. The precision CNC cut of the sawtooth profile is clean and tidy and the consistent uniform profile makes installation of the tiles a breeze too. One pack of tiles contains 24 tiles which are sized 305mm (12in) by 305mm (12in). The tiles are precision CNC Machine cut sawtooth profile which offers a greater surface area over flat tiles which enables them to ‘catch’ sound waves more easily and effectively. The CNC machining results in uniform profile and size every time. One pack covers an area of 2.23 m2 (24 ft2). The acoustic tiles are available in dark grey only. The tiles have a peak thickness of 40mm and are 20mm at the base which makes them effective for reducing reverberations and echoes in the room. The foam has a density of 30kg/m3 and a hardness of 180 Newton. The NRC of the Wedge Standard Acoustic Tiles is 0.60 We only use professional grade open cell acoustic foam. We specialize and are dedicated in selling only acoustic foam products. You will not find us selling other products such as upholstery foam or packaging foam, foams which are not suitable for acoustic applications. All of our products meet Crib 5, UL94 and the requirements of schedule 1, part 1 the Furniture and Furnishings (fire) (safety) Regulations 1988 (amended 1989). This Furniture and Furnishings is a more stringent test then the FMVSS302 which other companies advertise. The FMVSS302 is an automotive fire classification and products which only conform to this classification are not suitable for use in domestic or commercial applications. Our products are totally safe and suitable for use in both domestic and commercial applications.
