The Adams Dry Fishing Fly is a design over 85 years old and still fished by fishermen all over the world. Grizzle brown hackles with a medium grey body the Adams fly works in a wide range of water types for trout. Works well all year but probably peaks in spring and summer. Cast upstream on rivers to achieve a dead drift. The fly is a good match for several American and European Upwinged flies, a very acceptable likeness of an Iron Blue.
