- The Adafruit Feather nRF52 Bluefruit is an easy-to-use, low-power all-in-one Bluetooth card, with a native Bluetooth chip, the nRF52832. This is our interpretation of an Arduino + Bluetooth compatible "all-in-one" low power consumption with built-in USB and battery charging.
- This chip has twice as much flash, SRAM and the performance of older Bluefruit nRF51 modules. Best of all, it has Arduino IDE support so there is no "help" chip like the ATmega32u4 or ATSAMD21. Instead, this chip is programmed directly. It has tons of impressive devices: lots of GPIO, analog inputs, PWM, timers, etc. Leaving the extra microcontroller, the price, complexity and power consumption are all lower/better.
- It allows you to run the code directly on the nRF52832, directly from the Arduino IDE as you would any other MCU or Arduino compatible device. A single MCU means better performance, lower overall power consumption and reduced production costs if you ever want to design your own hardware to suit your Bluefruit nRF52 Fairy project.
- The chip is pre-programmed with an auto boot loader so you can quickly download into the Arduino IDE without pressing the buttons. Want to program the chip directly? You can use our command line tools with your favorite editor and toolchain.
- The example code works perfectly with the existing iOS and Android app of Adafruit.
