Acer shirasawanum Jordan is a deciduous cultivar with a bushy habit and attractive colourful foliage that initally presents with delightful orange/yellow maple leaves. These will eventually brighten to a lime-green, with small red seed heads providing an added contrast during the height of summer, before the leaves turn to a dramatic red during autumn. This japanese maple prefers to be planted in full sun, but can easily adapt to a partially shaded position in your garden. Jordan can tolerate most soil types, so long as the planting area is moist, but well-drained. We would like to remind customers that the images are for illustration purposes only. Due to the deciduous nature of this plant, your tree may arrive without leaves depending on the time of year.
