All Acctim Radio Controlled clocks are tuned to the UK's Atomic Clock transmitter. Featuring fully automatic set-up and adjustment to summer/winter time changes. Manufacturer's Description Smartlite® display lights up all night it’s a new patented technology that automatically illuminates the dial when the room darkens for easy night-time viewing. The Smartlite® sensor turns the light off during the day to prolong battery life. The Radio Controlled mechanism fitted to your clock has a built in receiver, which is tuned to the National Physical Laboratory MSF Transmitter based in Anthorn, Cumbria. The time signal received is controlled by a cesium clock, is accurate to within one second every 1000 years, allows fully automatic set up of your clock and will automatically adjust for summer/winter time changes.
