The Smartvest wireless water detector is an extension module for the Smartvest wireless alarm panel. It reacts to water and other liquid substances and reports these events to the wireless alarm panel. The Smartvest wireless water detector consists of a transmitter and the sensor. Both are connected via a 1.8 metre long cable. The sensor reacts to water and reports this to the alarm control panel. This means that damage caused by burst pipes or burst water hoses in washing machines or dishwashers can be quickly detected and minimised by rapid intervention.
