Manufacturer Description: Material: the Tournament Series 16 strand PE Braid lines are made with ultra-volume UHMWPE material from Japan. This material has been developed by packing more fibers in each strand using Japanese technology. A very small diameter strand can handle higher impact/shocks with non-existent deformation. 16 Strand Braid System: made with a tighter weave of ultra-volume UHMWPE fiber, the 16 strand braid line is rounder, smoother and structurally superior to competing 12, 9, 8 and 4 strand systems.
