Description Product description Carbon Dioxide is used as a liquid solvent to extract oils from the plant. This process creates a pure clean quality oil TOTAL EXTRACTS - require higher pressure and low temperatures with the resultant extract containing a high proportion of compounds such as fatty acids, waxes, resins and plant pigments. They are often semi solid or solid and must be gently warmed in order to use them like a liquid. RECOMMENDED MODE OF USE: Do not use solid extracts as they will clog up your diffuser mechanism. Inhalation in a nasal inhaler, on a tissue or over a bowl of steam/hot water. Dilute in a fixed oil carrier such as fractionated coconut, sweet almond, jojoba or sunflower. Apply to the skin using massage or as a treatment body oil to the affected area. In a comforting bath, dilute a few drops of select or total extract into a carrier or foam base and put under a running tap. Compress – add a few drops of select or total extract into a bowl of warm or cold water. Soak a clean cloth or gauze in the water and apply to the affected area. Footbath – like the bath, apply a few drops of extract to a footbath and soak feet for as long as possible.
