For your convenience, we have diluted this oil to 3% in our premium Jojoba oil. True Melissa has a delicate, lemony, herbaceous aroma which uplifts and comforts the mind. Melissa is steam distilled from the herb which has been known for hundreds of years in Europe, sometimes as Balm or Lemon Balm. We also produce a blend of essential oils, including Lemon, Lemongrass and Citronella, which has a similar aroma, called Melissa Type. Given the rarity of the oil, it is probably best not blended with others, but therapeutically it combines well with our Rose Otto oil. For the ultimate in luxury baths, try 2 drops of Melissa with 1 drop of Rose Otto, added to warm bathwater.
