This process creates a pure clean quality oil SELECT EXTRACTS - require low pressure and low temperature with the resultant liquid/extract being made up of volatile material. This method avoids thermal degradation, avoids oxidation and the results can be used like an essential oil. The oil differs from the distilled or solvent extracted version as it has a very different chemical composition. Select extracts contain between 35% to 95% essential oil along with fatty acids and other fatty substances. RECOMMENDED MODE OF USE: Diffusion of the liquid Select extracts. Do not use solid extracts as they will clog up your diffuser mechanism. Inhalation in a nasal inhaler, on a tissue or over a bowl of steam/hot water. Diluted in a fixed organic oil carrier such as fractionated coconut, sweet almond, jojoba or sunflower. Apply to the skin using massage or as a treatment body oil to the affected area. In a comforting bath, dilute a few drops of select or total extract into a carrier or foam base and put under a running tap. Compress – add a few drops of select or total extract into a bowl or warm or cold water. Soak a clean cloth or gauze in the water and apply to the affected area. Footbath – like the bath, apply a few drops of extract to a footbath and soak feet for as long as possible.
