Product Description Extracted by steam distillation from crude camphor (the crystalline resin of mature trees), there are several species of Camphor – the Ho Sho variety is used to produce Ho Wood essential oil. This Absolute Aromas Ho Wood oil is 95% Linalol, a gentle and safe, natural constituent. It has a sweet and relaxing aroma, which blends well with Cedarwood, Bergamot, Lavender and Geranium. Absolute Aromas does not stock Rosewood for ethical reasons (it is a Brazilian rainforest tree and therefore an endangered species). If you see another supplier selling Rosewood, please consider the environmental ramifications before you purchase. This Ho Wood can be considered as a direct alternative thanks to its high linalol content, and is a far more sustainable option.
