The friction between the brake pad and the brake discs slows the car down to the desired speed. All ABS friction material has the perfectly balanced mix between comfort and durability. With it’s high resistance to temperature changes and compressibility (only 1,03% ISO6310 at 400°C) it’s has a responsiveness that any driver will appreciate. All ABS brake pads have the important ECE-R90 approval, which ensures that the quality of the friction material complies with OE-manufacturer. Important guidelines when changing pads: -Always check if your brake disc is above it’s minimum thickness -Do not install new pads on heavily worn disc, you will have low friction and high chance on brake squeal -Do not leave the caliper hanging from it’s brake hose, make sure the brake hose is sharply bend during the fitting process -Push back the piston(s) of the caliper gently to avoid permanent damage. Some pistons can only be reset by turning instead of pushing. In this case please use the appropriate tool. -Never use any copper paste during installation
