The Locomotor range of slide sheets is available in a range sizes and allows three basic patient handling tasks without the need to lift, and without the risk of sheering the patient’s skin. The multi-directional glide and ultra-low friction of the sheets makes sliding transfers extremely easy to perform. They can be used with sliding boards to ease a sliding transfer from chair to wheelchair or to aid lateral transfer from bed to trolley using a bridging board they are also very handy for sitting patients up in bed. All slide sheets in the Locomotor range can be autoclaved or washed above 160 degrees.
