Boccia (pronounced botcha) is an internationally recognized game played at the Paralympics. Boccia is a sport that can be enjoyed by anyone! The aim of the game is to score more points than your opponent by getting your Boccia balls closer to the jack than your opponent. Boccia can be played by individuals, in pairs or in teams. The Boccia measuring plate is used to check that the Boccia balls being used for a competition are the correct size. The balls being used must not be able to pass through hole one in the plate but must be able to pass through hole two.
