Product description
Boat mooring line spring shock absorber. Top quality, made from A4 marine grade (316 AISI) stainless steel. Ideal for use around salt water. Used to absorb excessive strain and shock from mooring ropes, reducing the risk of ropes breaking. 270mm total length, 50mm diameter. 5mm thick spring. Lowers strain on deck fittings by reducing shock load. Helps prevent localised gelcoat crazing around cleats and fairleads. Generally suitable for boats up to around 6m depending on the number of shock absorbers used.
