HANDMADE seed paper / card to work your magic on!Thin = approx. 160gsm (paper - can print on most inkjet printers)Regular = approx. 200gsm (thin card - can print on most inkjet printers that can print on card and some regular printers)Thick = approximately 350gsm (card - CANNOT print on printers - only recommended for crafting)As each sheet is handmade,there will be some variation in appearance and thickness. PRINTINGOur seed paper can be printed on but care needs to be taken when deciding which thickness and printer to use. Some printers do not like seed paper and we cannot be held responsible for any damage that might be caused. While we have had no reports of damage to any home printers from light use,heavy/commercial use could result in issues such as unwanted marks on paper and cause the printer to need a deep clean. Laser printers should not be used as excessive heat can destroy the seeds. We do not recommend using a commercial printer unless they’re experienced with handmade seed paper. SEEDSWe choose our seed mixes with bees in mind and each sheet includes a variation of Sweet Alyssum,Poppy,Baby’s Breath,Rudbeckia & Basil. These are non-invasive species that are commonly found in the wild and in garden shops. They can be grown in pots and left outside but we do not recommend disturbing nature by planting in the wild. PLANTINGTo make sure your seed paper has the best chance of turning into beautiful flowers,be sure to write/print detailed instructions on it. – Recommended planting time – Spring/Summer (when it’s warm/hot)– Soak in water and tear into small pieces– Place pieces in a pot of compost– Water and keep the soil and paper moist (do not let it dry out but do not leave it soaking wet either) in a warm and light environment– Once your small plants have grown,place pot outside or keep on a window that has lots of sun– Do not plant in nature – eco systems are fragile
