• 79mm - 3" Inch Double Sprung Tubular Mortice Latch Polished Brass - 59mm Backset
• This architectural quality heavy duty tubular door latch features a polished brass faceplate and striker plate keep with a dust box for a neat looking finish.
• This tubular door latch has a double sprung mechanism that is ideally suited to unsprung door knobs with or without bolt through fixings, and can be used on broken or weak sprung door handles that fail to return to the correct position.
• This tubular latch requires a 1" inch diameter hole for the 79mm case depth. The backset is 59mm (distance from the faceplate to the centre of the 8mm square spindle socket or follower). The face plate measures 27mm x 58mm with 42mm screw centres. The strike plate or keep measures 29mm x 70mm with 54mm screw centres, the tongue is 38mm with a 11mm projection and is also supplied with a keep box to hide an unsightly door frame mortice.
• This 3" inch tubular latch is supplied as a complete set with all required fixtures and fittings. A tubular latch rebate kit is also available to order separately.
